Oggi vorrei presentare questa pagina di *Scrapbooking 
perchè ha un layout veramente particolare, 
come se si trattasse di una scacchiera..


Today I want to present this *Scrapbooking 

page

because it has a very special layout,
as if it were a chessboard ..

e le righe che la compongono sono cucite a macchina..
Le cuciture infatti creano degli spazi o meglio
delle caselle che racchiudono piccole foto tessera..

...and lines that make up the board are machine sew ..
The seams indeed create spaces as
boxes which enclose small photo cards ..

Ogni foto è stata scattata a distanza di anni l'una dall'altra
ed è ben visibile la trasformazione del volto
che piano piano si riempie dei segnidel tempo 
e della stanchezza della vita.

Each picture was taken after years from one another

and 

the transformation of the face 

is clearly visible. 

It slowly shows signs of aging

and tiredness of life.

Anche le pettinature avete notato?,
 cambiano con il passare degli anni
e così anche il modo di fare fotografia.


Even the hairstyles, you noticed?
  changed over the years
and so also the techniques of photography.

In poche semplici piccole foto
si racconta una vita intera.


In a few simple small photos

di giocare di correre o saltare,

insomma di fare qualche cosetta folle solo per dimostrare

che sappiamo ancora volerci bene...

E' la bambina che eravamo...

Le pagine-diario mi piacciono veramente molto..
Insieme ai mini album e alle tag sono tra gli elementi compositivi dello *Scrap che mi danno maggior soddisfazione
perchè permettono di fissare momenti passati o presenti 
che non vogliono essere dimenticati...


I love the diary pages.
because they are among the compositional elements 
of the * Scrap that give me the greatest satisfaction...
they allow you to set memories
we do not want to forget ...

Inoltre le grandi dimensioni(misurano tutte 30x30 cm)
le rendono molto versatili, in pratica possiamo
 riempirle con tutto quello che vogliamo...

Dopo la prima pagina-diario, vedi qui

è coloratissima e con molti embellishments
che la rendono vivace e brillante..

Il punto focale della composizione sono le foto
nell'angolo in basso a destra
mentre la parte alta della pagina
ha un motivo decorativo cucito a zig-zag..

...perchè il bello della carta ,
come sapranno le amiche che mi seguono da tempo,
è proprio quello di poter essere trattata quasi come una stoffa
e quindi non solo incollata ma anche cucita a mano 
o con la macchina..
E qui naturalmente sta il divertimento ;-))

Una zia di nome Fidelma ;-)) / Aunt Fidelma *Scrapbooking Page 1

Questa signora sorridente che vedete fotografata
ai piedi delle colline tosco-emiliane
qualche decennio fa, si chiamava Fidelma..

and facing the Tuscan-Emilian hills
a few decades ago was Aunt Fidelma ..

ed era la migliore amica di mia madre 
ai tempi in cui ero una ragazzina timida e insicura..

she was the best friend of my mother
in the days when I was a shy and insecure teenager  ..

erano i mitici anni settanta !!!
they were the legendary seventies!

Per ricordarla con affetto le ho dedicato 
questa pagina-diario realizzata interamente
con le carte che si trovano periodicamente
 tra gli scaffali di un noto discount...

La ghirlanda di carta riciclata / VIDEO / Little Paper Wreath

Riciclo riciclo è la parola d'ordine mie care...
e adesso vi mostro cosa ho combinato

per l'ennesima volta con una busta...

of yellow and blue

in the wings of a butterfly ..


Creando pazientemente un fiore dopo l'altro...
sono fiori stilizzati nei toni del giallo e dell'azzurro
